Comic-Con 2011 kicks off July 21 in San Diego and Showtime will be there showcasing their hit shows! Dexter, Shameless, Californication, Weeds and Homeland will all be celebrated and GetGlue has stickers. Just check-in to these shows while you’re at Comic-Con, or if you can’t make it, check-in to show your support! You can check-in from our apps or website.
Showtime will have panels for Dexter and Shameless, along with an exclusive first-look at the new series Homeland. For the Dexter panel, Comic-Con fans will be the first to see the exclusive world premiere of the new season’s trailer, along with a Q&A with some of the stars, including Michael C. Hall. The Shameless panel will also feature a Q&A with William H. Macy, Emmy Rossum and more of the cast.
When you earn these exclusive stickers, you will also receive a coupon for 15% off Comic-Con gear at the Official Showtime store! We will also have a Dexter Trivia sticker. Last year, we partnered with Showtime for awesome stickers for their shows, and it was a huge success. Dexter, their #1 show, was consistently at the top of our popular list, killing the competition with more than 100K check-ins. For 2011, we have stickers for all major Showtime shows, but we also have new rewards: a select number of Season Fans can win DVDs just for checking-in through our apps or our website!
We’ll be kicking off these rewards for the January shows Californication, Episodes, and Shameless, as well as bring-’em-back-now favorites Dexter, Weeds, Nurse Jackie, United States of Tara, and The Big C when they make their triumphant returns later this year. We’ll also have DVDs to give away for the anticipated new drama The Borgias. At the end of each show’s season, 10 Season Fans and 10 Season Super Fans will win a free DVD set of the entire season. Showtime boasts its Biggest.Sunday.Ever. on January 9, and you’ll have your first chance to start earning the Season Fan and Superfan stickers with the premieres of Californication, Episodes, and Shameless. The fun starts at 9pm with the return of Californication, followed by the series premieres of the new edgy comedies Episodes and Shameless. Remember to check-in when your shows air to earn these special stickers.
