Here at AdaptiveBlue, the frequent flier miles have been racking up! We’ve been all over the country at conferences and events in Boston, Miami, San Francisco, and Austin. Everyone is home for now, but not for long, since some of our crew is heading out to SF for Web 2.0.

Here’s some highlights from our trips :)

SXSW
Fraser and I traveled to Austin, Texas last week for SXSW. We enjoyed the warm weather, the great food, fun parties, but the highlight was definitely the awesome people we met.

I Heart Glue

Most of our days were spent in the TechSet Blogger’s Lounge where we demoed Glue, and handed out a lot of Glue Shirts (everyone was jealous of our awesome wardrobe).

Some Highlights of our trip:

We had a great talk with Rex about Glue and the evolution of communities on the web. Rex was also was lucky enough to got a sneak peak of the new Glue!

While sitting in the blogger’s lounge we had the pleasure of meeting a lot of great people. Tim Walker, an Austin native, brought us to a great Cuban Restaurant (probably one of my favorite meals in Austin).

We enjoyed seeing Nichelle at her Cupcake Social, which had a great turnout, and some of the best cupcakes we ever had.

We also headed over to Austin’s Semantic Web Meetup, organized by Juan, where we presented Glue.

ETech:
Karen had a great time in her home state of California. She enjoyed the content of the conference and met some quality people, including Robert Berger, who is a big fan of Glue.

BarCampMiami:
Fraser was excited to have the opportunity (thanks Rey!) to talk about Glue and building on the Mozilla platform at BarCampMiami. He was also excited to work on his tan, but didn’t find the time! He did meet some great people like Wayne Sutton and Mike McDerment.

Boston
In Boston Fraser was able to meet up with active Glue-rs Andrew, Aaron, and Chad. Fraser also presented Glue at Democamp Boston and was received positively.

It’s been a busy month for us at AdaptiveBlue but big things are coming and it’s only going to get busier. If we met you at one of the events drop us a note hello or follow us on Twitter!
