The Stanley Cup Playoffs are in full swing, and we can’t stop talking about our favorite postseason match-ups on the ice. Now, hockey fans have a whole new way to check-in to their favorite games: by experiencing the Stanley Cup Playoffs through the NHL GameCenter ™ 2011-2012 app and checking-in via the GetGlue integration in the app.
This is an exciting integration for hockey and GetGlue fans alike. Via the GameCenter app, you can check-in with GetGlue to each game in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, a unique experience for major pro sports and the GetGlue platform. GameCenter offers scores, schedules, play-by-play, news, and more. Plus, it now offers GetGlue check-ins so that fans can share that they’re watching the biggest games with their friends and everyone else who is experiencing the game.
See a great play? Check-in and share your excitement. Join the conversation live during each game to connect with other fans and taunt the other side. Just don’t do anything that would land you in the penalty box.
While you’re cheering on your favorite team, you can check-in to each and every game during the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Beyond the most intense action on the ice and best conversations around the games, you’ll also be rewarded with a GetGlue sticker for checking-in exclusively from the NHL app during the Conference Quarter-finals, Conference Semi-finals, and Conference Finals. There is also a special sticker for checking-in just to the Stanley Cup Finals. This sticker may not be the Stanley Cup itself, but this requires far less skill (and sweat).
