Quick notes from the show…

We were underwhelmed by:

  • The Wyndham Hotel we stayed at
  • Smoking cabs and cab drivers
  • Austin itself
  • Ranch 616

We liked:

  • Hanging out with each other
  • Telling people about AdaptiveBlue
  • Other companies in the show
  • County Line

Overall it was pretty cool - I am glad we finally went there!

Oh yeah and Fraser pitched AdaptiveBlue to Scoble!

While I managed to deliver a good 1:49 demo to Scoble, I had a completely different experience with Guy Kawasaki.

I should re-read Art of the Start.

Oh man … epic fail :)

I think underwhelmed is not a strong enough word to describe how I feel about all the booths that had either Guitar Hero or Rock Band, especially the two right next to us. I don’t need to hear Slow Ride or Mississippi Queen ever again.
