After releasing our new website in September, we got right back to work and listened to you, our users, about what features and changes you’d like to see. Today, in time for the Social TV Summit in snowy New York City, we’ve released an update to the GetGlue experience.
We’ve put on a lighter skin across the site for a better experience and easier navigation. You can now quickly navigate between your recent check-in feeds, join multiple conversations while you channel surf, and enjoy brand new fresh profiles.
Activity Feed
On your activity feed you can keep up with all your friends’ check-in’s and media from the top shows you’re watching. When a friend shares or likes media and comments from shows you like, you’ll see that in your feed. You’ll also get recommended shows and movies based on what your friends are checking-in to.
Show Feeds
Keeping up with your favorite show on GetGlue? Jump between the hottest conversation on “Trending”, keep up with real-time conversation on “Live”, or get all the top articles, videos and images between episodes on “Media”.
Share your thoughts on a show or your favorite images and clips using the comment box at the top of the show feed. Browse media by clicking on an image, video or article, and use the arrows to view more.

Revamped profiles
We’ve fully upgraded profiles to help display your personal tastes and discover new favorites through others. On your profile activity feed, you’ll see your full history on GetGlue, including your recent top watched shows, all your check-ins, follows, likes and comments. By clicking the other tabs on your friends’ profiles, you can view their favorite shows, movies and sports, read their reviews, and see what stickers they’ve unlocked.

Tag Friends & Fans in Conversations
One of our favorite features in this update is the ability to tag a friend in a conversation. Mention your friends in check-ins, comments or reply directly to another person in a conversation thread by typing @ and their username.
Gurus and Fans
We’ve now highlighted our most active fans of a show in its object feed. If you’re a Guru, your comment is more likely to show up in the Trending section. Now you can easily identify other fans and chat with them and the Guru for their expert opinion during the show.
Order Your Stickers
You can now easily order your stickers by visiting Limited Stickers under the “You” drop down or “Stickers” on your profile. Click “Mail Me My Stickers” in the left sidebar.

Today we’re very excited to announce that GetGlue.com is getting a major upgrade. Now, you can get the same great experience on the web that you get on our new iPad app.
The new and improved GetGlue.com features a re-imagined guide for shows, movies and sports. With personalized and social recommendations, our guide will change the way you discover what to watch. In addition, you’ll find a richer feed with the best content about your favorite shows. Don’t worry, we’ve kept your favorite features, including checking-in and unlocking great stickers!
The Guide
With our new guide, we’ve re-imagined the way you decide what to watch. Find your favorite shows, movies, and sports on now, and get great recommendations based on your tastes and social graph. Scroll ahead in your guide to find upcoming new episodes, movie releases, and big events - such as season premieres and finales. Nothing on TV? Use our explore and search features to get movies in theaters and streaming suggestions.
The Feed
On your main feed, you can still follow and comment on your friends’ activity. Now, you can also view feeds for your favorite shows, movies, and sports to see hot comments and media content. Join the conversation while you watch, and post great images, videos and links about the shows. For sports fans, check-in to the game you’re watching to root for your team, smack-talk opposing fans, and get in-game media and score updates.
We’re really proud of this exciting upgrade and we think you’ll love it too. Even so, we’re making it possible for you to access the old GetGlue site if you’d like to check-in to topics, books, or music or have a look at your full check-in history. You can visit the old site by clicking on “Looking for the old site?” in the footer, or directly in your browser at o.getglue.com.

Hey droiders - we’ve got some updates to make your GetGlue experience even better!
Kindle Fire and Honeycomb Tablets: Our new Android app is optimized for Kindle Fire and Honeycomb, so checking-in is a breeze from your tablet devices. You can get your GetGlue app for Kindle in the Amazon Appstore for Android.
Notifications: Get alerts when your friends check-in to the same show as you or leave a comment on your check-in. Never get left out of the conversation with notifications for Android, including rich notifications for Honeycomb and Ice Cream Sandwich users.
New Navigation: Easily access all of GetGlue’s features using the new navigation bar for Ice Cream Sandwich (don’t worry folks, it works for you non-ICS users too). Quickly check-in from anywhere in the app, access your messages, or return to the homescreen by tapping the GetGlue logo.
Facebook Timeline: Add GetGlue to your Facebook Timeline right from the Android app by tapping “Try It Out” on the homescreen. Sharing to your Timeline will let you look back at your check-ins to your favorite TV shows, movies and music. In addition, you’ll get a nifty section on your Timeline that shows the stickers you’ve earned on GetGlue.
If you haven’t connected your GetGlue to Facebook yet, just go to settings and tap “Connect with Facebook”.
Update your Android app today to take advantage all our new Ice Cream Sandwich features!
GetGlue has always been better with friends, and we want our users to be able to check-in from anywhere, anytime, so last week we released new updates for our website, m.getglue.com and Android app.
1. Who to Follow
GetGlue is a great place to find others who share your interests in TV shows, movies and music, so that’s why we created our Who to Follow feature. Who to Follow helps you easily find them by recommending users based on your tastes, people we think you may know, and GetGlue’s top users.
Start chatting with old friends you didn’t know were on GetGlue and new friends who love your favorite shows with Who to Follow. You’ll find it on your homepage and in the Friends section.
2. Find and Invite Friends
Know fans of True Blood? Does your best friend love Beyoncé? Whether they’re on Twitter, Facebook, or just have email, use our upgraded Invite Friends feature to make sure they don’t miss out on another great exclusive sticker or special. If you’re not sure which of your friends are already on GetGlue, easily connect your Facebook or Twitter to find them on your social networks. Just click Friends in the navigation bar to find and invite them.
3. Android App and Mobile Website
Here at GetGlue we’re committed to leaving no mobile device 
behind, and last week we made significant upgrades to m.getglue.com and our Android app. On the Android app and eligible devices, you’ll notice a host of upgrades to making GetGlue easier and faster to use.
First, easily access your unlocked special anytime on your mobile device directly from the TV show, movie, or music page. Just tap the orange banner at the top to access your reward!
Next, you’ll notice a host of features you’d think were only possible in an iPhone app! GetGlue will now hide the browser bar to give you more real estate on your mobile screen. Want to read the latest chatter on tonight’s episode? To update, just swipe down on the conversation screen. Then, quickly browse through the most interesting discussion as we auto-load more comments.
Finally, are you on a BlackBerry or Windows 7 phone? Add m.getglue.com to your home screen and quickly check-in to your favorite shows and movies!

From new ways to join the conversation to location based stickers, this week we’ve released a bunch of new features to keep you Glued and out of the heat!
Friend conversations: Ever see a hot topic and then lose it in your feed forever? Now we’ve added two ways to never be left out again! Hot topics will now be easy to find in your stream with our fire icon, and conversation voted on by your friends will re-broadcast at the top of your feed. In addition, we’ve added the ability to comment on your friends’ stickers and Guru status, so get chatting!
Trending shows: Let GetGlue help you find out what’s hot on TV! When you login to GetGlue, be sure tolook in the right column of your home screen to see which shows are trending. Trending shows let you know what’s hot so you never miss the next big TV moment.
Suggesting items: While we consider ourselves entertainment savvy, we know we probably missed a thing or two. If you search for an item on our site and can’t find it, you can now suggest we add it to our site. If you have what it takes to be a GetGlue editor and we add your items, you can unlock some very rare new stickers!
Location stickers: Connect your check-ins with Foursquare and tell us where you are. When you show us you’re a man (or woman) about town, we’ll start rewarding you with location stickers.
